Fault Lines

The Project

Fault Lines is a social history project funded by Historic England’s Everyday Heritage Fund. The project worked with local community members in Ordsall, Salford, throughout 2022-23, gathering memories and experiences of the local area, both past and present.

The project culminated in the sharing and celebration of local stories through the collection of aural histories, which have been collated into musical pieces and a podcast trail, which you can explore today.

You can follow the trail and using the QR codes, hear the voices of local people talking about their memories.
