Young people can flock together, get creative and be themselves.
Young people can better navigate the world, with access to support.
Volunteers and professionals with lived experience of neurodivergence develop their work through peer support, mentoring and training.
Organisations up-skill their workforce through training and consultancy around neurodiversity.
Outcomes
Young people make connections, build a sense of positive identity and improve wellbeing.
Young people develop self-knowledge and improved access to support
Volunteers and professionals develop experience, networks and best practice.
Organisations increase awareness, knowledge and acceptance of neurodiversity and have the practical tools and confidence to do so.
Objectives
In 2023-24 we plan to:
Run youth projects in 4 areas of GM, working with 150 young people per year.
Develop a training and mentoring programme for neurodivergent volunteers, working with 20 people per year.
Provide training and consultation to 50 organisations across the UK.
Create practical tools and resources that support neuro-inclusion, awareness and acceptance of neurodiversity, accessed by 25 organisations per year.
